Dye Class

Basic Shepherding
A basic Sheep 101 class that covers the basics in care, handling and health, flock economics and breeding, nutrition and pasture management, and of course parasites! Class runs for 4-5 hours and includes a book and handouts. Call to schedule Fee $225

Lambing 101
This 2.5-3 hour class will go over the basics of selection, gestation management, Labor signs, problematic birthing situations, and when to intervene. Students will also learn about lamb aftercare: giving shots, docking tails, tagging, and bottle feeding. Only taught in the spring Call to schedule Fee $175

Fiber Washing and Preparation
This is an hour-plus long class that gives students the opportunity to wash raw fleece and learn what to look for in buying a fleece. In addition, students will have hands-on experience with a variety of carding methods Class includes materials $75
