Walnut Springs Fruit Farm

Walnut Springs Farm is located in northern Cecil County Maryland. We have been growing strawberries and other fruit for over 40 years. We take great pride in producing quality fruit for our customers and in providing a family-friendly farm experience.

The Johnson Family has been farming in Cecil County for over 75 years. Originally operated as a grain, livestock, and turkey farm, Phil and Ruth Ann Johnson first offered pick-your-own strawberries to customers in 1975. Since that time the crop selection and programs have continually expanded.
The farm incorporates many conservation practices such as sediment control ponds, grass waterways, and contour terraces. We practice integrated pest management practices that are environmentally friendly.
